Barium – the Business Process Company

Barium provides tools and services for creating value-adding and sustainable business process solutions. The target customers are leading businesses and organisations that need to automate and assure the quality of their business processes, while also keeping them up-to-date. Barium was formed in 1995, and we have our head office in Gothenburg, Sweden. Our employees have extensive experience and expertise in information management and Business Process Management.

Our owners

Barium AB is wholly owned by Atine Group Oy, Finland. Atine is a long term industrial holding company investing in IT and telecommunications. The group’s strategy is to develop and lead its companies into strong competitive positions with solid growth and profitability. Atine is part of Virala Group, which today has assets of approximately 165 million euros. The owner is the Ehrnrooth family, whose members actively participate in both strategic and operational work. The Ehrnrooth family is also the principal owner of the Fiskars Group. The brand has been in the family since 1653, and is an excellent example of Nordic industrial sustainability.
